Brighton MA is a neighborhood in the northwest corner of Boston MA. Brighton is surrounded by Allston, Newton, Cambridge, Brookline, and Watertown. 32 percent of the population consists of residents between the ages of 25 and 34. Also, about 33 percent of the population has graduated from a four year college or university! And if you include the 9 month residents from Boston College and Boston University those percentages increase again. Having said that, most of the students live right along Commonwealth Ave. and the B line train, part of the Green line system of the T. One of my favorite parts of Brighton is Oak Square. There are lots of restaurants and pubs located there and the new YMCA is a great place to workout on a budget. There are also express buses from Oak Square to downtown Boston.
