As you know, I started out using craigslist.com. I wasn't getting anywhere with it because it was difficult to imagine what places were really like from their descriptions or pictures. A lot of time was wasted looking at places that, had I know what they were actually like, I never would have considered.
But, I saw a rental unit that your company had placed on the site and we talked about it and about my criteria for housing. After showing me a couple of places and listening to my reactions, you quickly understood what was really important to me and my husband. You described a place you knew fit our criteria and you made arrangements to show it to me right away. It was the place for us!
Any prospective lessee would do well to work with you to find a home. In addition to the exceptional service, the finder's fee is paid by the lessor. What a deal!

Mike is a dedicated, principled, and extremely knowledgeable and professional realtor who does his best to ensure that the realty transaction/apartment rental process is as seamless as possible for the would-be house buyer/apartment renter. I’ve rented apartments through Newton Centre Associates on two occasions, and have been thoroughly impressed with Mike’s customer-centric focus, as well as his thorough understanding of the real estate market in Newton and surrounding areas.
Mike recognizes that client preferences are dynamic, not static, and won’t try to make a “hard sell” or employ “guilt trip” tactics on a client when the client changes his/her mind about a particular real estate property. I’ve been at the receiving end of such loathsome tactics from unscrupulous realtors at other realty companies, and might have become resigned to accepting such treatment as “the normal course of business” in the local real estate industry had I not, fortuitously, seen a realty listing from Newton Center Associates and followed through with an appointment with Mike to see some of the listed properties then available for rent. “My terrible tenant left on Dec 31…and the apartment was a bit of a mess…Two of my friends said to call Mike at Newton Centre Associates. Mike came over, could see through the grime and clutter at what a great apartment I had. He advised me on the clean up and some renovations. Mike seemed confident about finding a tenant.
Long story happily ends with a wonderful tenant for Feb. 1st.

Mike asked if I could be a reference for him and I was glad to accept.
We hired Michael Spurr to help us manage some rental properties we have. Our previous management co was irresponsible, dishonest and basically awful(they also let our properties properties disintegrate).
When we hired Michael, he took control over the situation. He was willing to work with us and address our needs. We stressed the condition of our properties was critical. He played an active role getting them fixed up and renting them quickly. He is also very forthcoming with receipts thus leaving no possibility of dishonest activity.
